François joined Amazon in 2005 as the executive leading the Entertainment and Media categories for Amazon.fr, Amazon’s French portal. He has been leading the Amazon.es online retail business since its launch in Spain in September 2011 and the Amazon.it online retail business since April 2015, increasing the selection for customers of both the websites, throughout 21 different categories. A French national, he started his professional career working in Latin America for Leo Burnett and Kellogg’s to then move to the UK to work as strategy consultant based out of London within Accenture. International Business and Corporate Finance from the E.S.L.S.C.A. Business School (Paris) and has an MBA from the Babson Graduate School of Business (Boston).
