In 1987 Claudio Antonioli opened his first project in Milan that soon became the reference point for a niche and in the know clientele. In January 2003 the store moved to Via P. Paoli 1, which formally housed one of Milan’s first silent theaters in the early 1920s. In 2009, Antonioli expanded the boutique, styled and redesigned by Vincenzo De Cotiis who gave new life to an old mechanic’s shop, creating a unique space using innovative, glistening materials. In 2015 a new concept has been added, White Room is a space full of light and pvc in which are exhibited the most brand-new streetstyle brands: Off White, Raf Simons, Vetements, Balenciaga and Calvin Klein. News from these days is the acquisition of additional 250 sm next to the store, providing two new windows on the Naviglio Grande. This new space, expected to open in september 2018, will host the new selection of big brands Antonioli chose for next season: Prada, Miu Miu, Burberry, Fendi and Gucci.
By now the Antonioli Group is present in Milano, Torino, Lugano and Ibiza with a global income of 30 mil euros.
In parallel with the Antonioli Group, Claudio Antonioli is founder, CEO and majority owner at New Guards Group, that includes the brands: Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, Off White c/o Virgil Abloh, Palm Angels, Unravel Project, Heron Preston, A Plan Application and Alanui. The aim at the beginning of this project was to encourage upcoming designers, providing them a longtime know-how in the fashion world, and connections about production and distribution. Taking the field as a mentor, was also a way to aknowledge the necessity for the fashion world to unite and work together, in the vision that merging experience is the best way to success in business.
