Yann Fontaine



Yann has over 25 years of senior leadership leading commercial transformations, building strategic partnerships, leading global brands and managing large multicultural teams.

Before being appointed in April 2022 as CEO for Miravia, Yann had different leading roles within Alibaba group starting as a senior vice president for all non-food categories at Lazada in 2017; president of Youpick, first social commerce app in the Thailand market during 2019 and 2020 and as a Chief Business Officer also in Lazada between 2017-2021, where he successfully led the launch of “LazMall”, a virtual mall in South East Asia for international brands.

Besides his career at Alibaba Group, Yann has a wide experience in other businesses and companies. He was the Group Chief Commercial Officer of CREA, digital commerce enabler company, in Southeast Asia region between 2021-2022 and he had a long career in Carrefour where he worked along more than 15 years holding different leadership positions like International Negotiations Director, Purchasing Director for Electronics in the South American market, Global Sourcing Director or Director of merchandising planning for the French market, among others.

He speaks 5 languages fluently and during his career he has worked across Europe, Latin America and Asia & Middle East. Yann is passionate about innovation and commercial transformations.
